I’m Asher Swan — a commercial photographer and creative director with a background in photography, psychology, and communication. My work is driven by a single focus: creating imagery that doesn’t just look good, but feels good. I combine visual craft with emotional intelligence to help brands tell stories that resonate and perform.

Over the years, I’ve led campaigns spanning portrait, editorial, lifestyle, and concept-driven work — collaborating with marketing teams, agencies, and entrepreneurs to produce content that’s both strategically aligned and creatively bold. Whether we’re in the studio or on location, I bring a calm, thoughtful approach, backed by technical expertise and a deep respect for process.

Clients work with me not just for the end result, but for the experience. I listen closely, ask the right questions, and keep every shoot focused, efficient, and on-brand. I currently serve as the University Photographer at Southern Utah University and Staff Photographer for St. George Magazine, keeping me grounded in both creative leadership and fast-paced execution.

Outside the studio, I’m most at home cooking for my family, exploring light through personal projects, and reading up on the psychological side of imagery — what I like to call photopsychology. That curiosity and care show up in my work. I believe great photography starts with trust, and I aim to bring that to every collaboration.
